Chavis Performance & Engineering was founded by Tyler Chavis after extensive experience working with Porsche platforms and GM LS engines. The company was created to provide reliable LS conversion solutions after seeing repeated failures and frustration with certain factory powerplants.
Over time, the shop became known in the Porsche community for high-quality LS conversions and engineering solutions—from turnkey builds in Baltimore, Maryland to precision parts shipped to DIY installers nationwide. In-house programs are primarily LS3 or LS7, while our kits support Gen 3 and Gen 4 LS engines with 58x-required harness compatibility.
