The CPE 996/997 Powertrain Mounting Package allows you to install ANY Chevrolet LS based engine into a Porsche 996/997 chassis 911 using our proprietary mounting solution. Our adapter plate will marry the Porsche G96/G97.01 transaxle to the Chevrolet LS engine while our motor plates bolt into the factory Porsche engine mount location(s), suspend the engine from the cylinder heads, and work for RWD or AWD variants dependent on motor plate orientation! If you require a G96/97.50 (Turbo/GT) transaxle adapter plate, please order and e-mail us stating such!

996.1 (‘99-‘01):
The lower subframe brace is a direct replacement.
996.2 (‘02-04):
The lower subframe brace is a direct replacement (if keeping the powertrain in the factory position). If moving the powertrain forward to retain the factory latch the lower subframe brace will need to be shaved roughly 5mm to clear the transmission/adapter plate.
997 (‘05-‘12):
The lower subframe brace is a direct replacement regardless of powertrain orientation
